Live Music
The exception to the peaceful norm on the Big Buddha Beach is the weekly Sunday party at Secret Garden. This starts at 3.30 / 4 pm (depending on the season) and lasts until 10 pm. The party consists of 3 or 4 bands or other entertainers and a great BBQ. Most people who live on the island use this as a day to take off and go and meet their friends at "The Garden", as it is generally known.

As the stage is facing the beach one can sunbathe and swim in the ocean whilst enjoying good live music. Occasionally, somebody from a reasonably well known band or group will come up on stage and join in, so as their motto goes, "You never know who you might see"
